Self-Guided Itineraries to Vatican Museums

I have read about four, color-coded itineraries (A, B, C, D) to the Vatican Museums, where one can chose a route of 90 minutes to 5 hours depending on individual interest. I'd like very much to see these itineraries before we go the next time. (Have already taken a guided tour of the highlights.) I have searched the Internet but have been unable to find the schematics. Does anyone have a link or a source I can consult? Perhaps they are buried in a book about the Vatican that I can pick up? Thanks!

I apologize as I cannot help with your original question, but if you have an MP3 player or iPod/iPhone, consider downloading the audio tours Rick Steves offers on his website: http://www.ricksteves.com/news/travelnews/0602/italy_downloads.htm. I found them to be very good, you can skip what you don't want to hear and they are the perfect duration. I found them to be a good overview and then I went off on my own to look at the few select things I wanted to enjoy further.

Thanks Maryam. I do have Rick's audio guides, but I want to get an idea of other approaches to this vast collection. We took a tour last October and saw the highlights -- Raphael Rooms, Laocoon, Map Room, Tapestries, Sistine Chapel and more. I think I'll have to get a museum guide in advance so I can do a better job of selectign my route, since I understand back-tracking is not allowed.
