For those that have read about the criminal charges and seizure of assets by Napoli authorities. This is the update from the Mattera family that owns most of the Castello.

The Mattera family, owners of a substantial part of the Aragonese Castle, have made it known that they are absolutely not involved in the kidnapping and that "the property remains completely open and can be visited by the public in the usual visiting hours": "The entire tour itinerary ( for more than 40 years open to the public) and related activities, such as the restaurant / bar The terrace, the monastery cafeteria, the LoStudio shop, the Monastery hotel, the Monastery kitchen restaurant, the Torture Museum, not are in any way interested in the matter - the Mattera family stated in a note - and, as far as is known, are not affected by any seizure order, nor, as far as they are aware, each of the undersigned is interested in provision or measures of any kind. The castle can therefore be visited and its activities are accessible as always during normal opening hours ".
