Hi forum,
I am visiting Florence again next winter and want to find a guide for a half-day private tour of artisans’ workshops (paper, leather, mosaic, jewelry, etc). My friend and I would like to observe part of the creation process, ask a few questions of the artist in a brief conversation, etc. (My friend is a craftsperson so I hope this will be a highlight of her first visit to the city.)
Rick recommends several guides in his Italy book and some of these guides list artisan tours on their websites, so I will be reaching out to them.
Does anyone here have a recommendation to share from recent personal experience? Thank you!
