Family of 4 in Savona Italy. Tired of touristy towns looking for 2 days on a beach.
Wondering if we should rent a car. We need to be in Marseiselle by this Thursday evening.
Are there any more quiet/smaller stops anyone can suggest?

We went through this search and it is more difficult to find a nice beach town on this portion of Ligurian coast. We stayed in Noli which we loved. Beach, Beach promenade, medieval quarter, castle on a hill, a Michelin star restaurant up in the old Bishop's Palace where we stayed at Palazzo Alberto Vescovile. Dramatic views of town and sea. Noli is a gem.
Check out Menton. We went through why you're experiencing a couple years ago and Menton was a nice change of pace.
