I have often come to this forum after I have built an itinerary seeking advice. This time, I thought I'd try a different approach. I have a "big" birthday coming up. In recent years, my husband and I have finally been able to travel to Europe. We have visited the Amalfi Coast, Rome, southern France, Provence and Paris. I'd like to celebrate my birthday next year by travelling with my late 20's kids and their significant others to Tuscany. I'm picturing renting a villa, visiting Florence, maybe spending time outside of Florence and seeing the best sights in the area, including Cinque Terre. We are an active family, enjoy hiking (best hike ever was Path of the Gods). We also love small local restaurants, cooking and relaxing! Although my birthday is in March, I'd like to plan this trip for early June to capitalize on good weather and smaller crowds.
I really enjoy building my own itineraries and sharing them, so thought maybe I'd put it out there to see if anyone has anything they would like to share with me.
Thank you in advance!
