Seeking Florence tours & guide

I will be heading to Florence in May. We will only have 2 days there. We are looking to go to the Uffizi and Accademia on our first day along with sites in-between. (Duomo will be the next day) I'm thinking it will be more economical to have a private guide for 5 people for around 4 hours. Would appreciate tour operator recommendations as well as any recommendations fun tour ideas, food tastings too. My kids are all in their 20s. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum, njmom -
Could I ask about the exact dates of your two days, and if you have 2 FULL days...meaning you're staying 3 nights? Not trying to be nosy; just want to make sure you're not needing to work around museum closure days, and a major holiday on May 1.

In the meantime, you might explore some guides/tours recommended in previous threads:

I will be there on a Sunday and Monday. I am aware that the Uffizi and Accademia are closed Mondays. So that's why Im leaving the Duomo for Monday. We are looking to head to Naples on Tuesday afternoon.

I've posted this info before, but in case you didn't see it - We have twice done private tours with Eleonora Catelani, www.florencearound.com. She is excellent. We did a walking tour with highlights of Florence, and Uffizi and Accademia on a different trip. Highly recommend her.
