Want bedrooms with doors (not lofts) in safe place not too high a floor, month of July- any suggestions.

go to www.vrbo.com a good site for apartments all over the world, go to Europe - Venice. All price ranges and sizes. I have sucessfully found wonderful, reasonable places in Paris and Cortona from this site.

I just rented a 4 bedroom apartment in Roma for a week in October on vrbo.com. (Vacation Rentals by Owner) It was all handled seamlessly with the owner via e-mail. I have used this site many times here in the states and Mexico but never in Europe. We have never been disappointed because owners are required to post photos and thorough descriptions of the properties. I also use the site as an owner to rent our ski condo in Colorado. Good luck!
