Secret to getting Trenitalia phone Ap

The Trainline app is the most useful as they sell tickets for several of the rail networks in Italy, as well as other countries, so that provides one stop shopping. The Trenitalia app really won't provide any benefits.

Unless you're able to use the App stores for the UK or other countries, you probably won't be able to download the Trenitalia app. That's what I've found.

You can't get this app on an iPhone in the US.
Unless you have an Android phone!
The other apps for buying tickets in Italy for iPhone (GoEuro, Portale Frecce, etc) are third party.
I'll just wait until we get there or go to the Trenitalia website.
Forget the app.

But for some weird reason, the app is available for iPads. If you try to connect to the iStore UK, you get a message saying you are not authorized to buy there and then you’ll switch back to the US store where it’s not available.
