Secret Passages Tour - Palazzo Vecchio

Will be in Florence and am trying to get info on the Secret Passages Tour at Palazzo Vecchio.

Dates: November 25-27 Solo traveler, prefer to do it on Sunday.

I will have a Firenze card and am trying to find out how to book this tour in advance. Is it necessary? Can I do it in advance before visiting the museum?

I thought this tour may have an uptick in popularity due to it's inclusion in the Inferno movie plot.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Check out www.florenceinferno.com for one choice for a tour. I'm not sure they do tours on Sundays but perhaps they do. We stayed at La Scaletta hotel overlooking Boboli Garden, a block from Ponte Vecchio, and a few steps from Pitti Palace. The tours might start from that side of the Arno.

The Vasari Corridor tour needs to be booked in advance due to limited access. I did it through Viator in conjunction with a Pitti Palace tour but there are other options. Cost is roughly $70 to $95.

Further clarification. I am simply referring to the Secret Passages Tour available through the
museum at Palazzo Vecchio. It is offered several times daily and costs 4 euro according to their website. There are no details however regarding advance reservations or purchase.

Is it necessary to make advance arrangements? If so, how do I? Can I go to the Ponte Vacchio Museum ticket office on Friday to buy a ticket for a Sunday tour?

Am I worrying unnecessarily for that time of year and can just walk up day of?

Thanks

John, did you end up taking this tour/figuring out where to order online? It sounds interesting. Or anyone else have more to add? Thanks!

Even if the original poster is not interested in the Vasari corridor, this is for letting you know that the corridor is at present closed for a general refurbishment. Portraits will be removed and when the corridor will be reopened, probably in 2018, it will have a completely different setting.

Hi Lachera, thanks, I was actually looking at the Palazzo Vecchio Secret Passages tour that some posters have written about before.
