Can anyone tell me if the Secret Itinerary Tour of the Doges Palace also covers the same areas of the regular tour of the Palace? I don't want to have to book two separate tours but am unable to tell from the info I have read whether the Secret Tour includes the "basic tour" as well. Also, I have heard that it gets quite hot as you head upstairs in the Secret Tour. We will be there the last week of September so any feedback regarding the best time of day to go would be appreciated.

The Secret Itinaries tour covers a number of areas not covered by gregular tours.It skips 2 large rooms that you can visit on your own.Have your hotel get a reservation for the Secret Itinary Tour.It costs little and skips the line.

Thanks Jack,
I have already emailed my hotel in Venice to request that they make me a reservation for the Secret Tour and then we can see the other two rooms on our own.
