Is the Secret Itineraries Tour covered on one of the Venice Passes or is it entirely separate? I know that the San Marco Museum Plus Pass covers the Doge Palace, but I think the Secret Itineraries is a separate tour? Can someone clarify for me? thanks in advance!
The Secret Itineraries Tour is a separate tour and not covered by the Museum Plus pass. Check this site for further information on booking http://www.tickitaly.com/galleries/doges-palace-venice-tour.php Hope this helps.
Karin, My fiance and I took that tour in March this year and LOVED IT!!! It's separate and WORTH it!! We had a blast!! It was great being taken into the back rooms, seeing Casanova's cell, where he escaped, the different state rooms of the Dodges!!! It was a great tour, we highly recommend it!!!
I also loved the tour, but I took it in February, when it was cold. There is no heating or cooling and you are right under the roof, so just know that if it's a hot day, take a fan with you. Entry to the rest of the palace is included with the tour - you can enter before the tour begins and/or stay after the tour ends. I sort of remember that with the San Marco Museum Pass, I was able to get the Tour at the "reduced rate." Check that out - it is a big savings if it is still available.
