Is the Secret Itineraries Tours of Doge's Palace something that can only be booked through the museum itself or can you use a touring company? If you can use a touring company, does anyone have any recommendations?

Yes you can only book through the museum itself - either online or over the phone (english options). The guide is an employee of the museum. I enjoyed the tour immensely, have fun!

Just did the tour last month. While the tour areas themselves were very interesting, our tour guide was not. She was in fact, awful. Wish there was some way you could select from them - I've heard others on this forum rave about theirs.
