We will be in Venice 7/1-7/4/2019
Wanting to do the Secret Itineraries tour at Doges Palace. Was hoping to book the 9:55am English tour on 7/2, but now I am wondering...Will it be too hot?

It WILL be hot up in the attics. Of course, morning is better than afternoon. Do try to go though because it is an excellent tour.

Just anecdotal, but our guide (we were there mid Oct) said she doesn't do the tour in the summer because it's too hot. But it was excellent so as a visitor I might just go anyway.

We went on the tour in late May last year in the early afternoon and it was pretty warm, but not overwhelming. What the guide told me is that when it is too warm, they don’t give the tour. If you have the chance to go, I would highly recommend it, our group of 6 really enjoyed the hearing the stories.

I had been planning on this tour all along, but started to get scared about the heat. Booking for July doesn't appear to be open yet, but I'll keep checking so we can get on the earliest tour.
