I have already purchased my 9am reservations/tickets online for the Borghese Gallery. I am looking for some help regarding the “secret gardens” and am wondering if we need reservations for this as well. Can anyone clarify as I am having difficulty finding information or I find a web page that is in Italian only. Thank you in advance.
Doesn't look like reservations are required, but here's a phone number you could call and ask:
"Free guided tours, available to the public hourly between 10 am and 1 pm and 3 pm and 6 pm, have been organised by the city council's environment and farm department,
tel. +39 06770042 or 067004573. "
From this website: http://www.romaclick.com/Pages/Rome/Tosee/Rome-guide-borghese.htm
Looks like there are also private guided tours available if you want something a little more formal: http://www.rome-accom.com/rome-guide/tours/secret-garden-tours.aspx
Lisa, I made a reservation last summer and the secret garden was included in the reservation. I was told this was the hardest ticket to buy in Rome, so MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME as they are very prompt. http://en.villaborghese.it/la_villa/giardini__1/giardini_segreti
Thank you for all of the information!
