We are planning a week in Tuscany and would like to spend a couple nights out in an Agriturismo. However the apps I’ve downloaded and the websites I’ve looked at have very few reviews if at all. What is the best site or app to find reviewed accommodations? Or does anyone have recommendations around Montalcino or Val D’orcia area?

We stayed at Le Ragnaie a few years ago, just outside of Montalcino. Very peaceful and a great location allowing one to slip into town for dinner without worrying about a long drive in the dark to return. I think it might be on Booking.com, but Google has it at 4. 5 stars.

I generally use TripAdvisor to research. They are usually listed as “other” type of accommodation. I like being able to look at the map and see where each is located.

I would suggest looking at Montepulciano. It is hugged on one side by the Val D'Orcia and on the other, the Valdichiana. For an accommodation, take a look at Fonte Martino (www.fontemartino.com). I stayed there last October. It's located in the countryside really close to town.
