We plan to spend 4 nights in Scopello in October, not necessarily for beaches but for day trips (Trapani, Erice) and some hiking. We are looking for simple accommodations, quiet with some degree of charm and comfort however not really seeking a swimming pool and other luxuries. Ideally we would be close to the center of Scopello so that we can walk to restaurants in the evening. And we love a friendly host! Any tips??

I stayed here years ago and liked it. They also have a restaurant that was good. Right “downtown” in the historical center.

I'd highly recommend The Pearl of Scopello located in the center of town - it's basic and cozy without compromising on charm and character. The team there are super accommodating and go above and beyond with their hospitality - plus they have a great on-site restaurant ;) With lovely views of the harbour and nearby attractions, you won't regret it.

Thank you kind Forum contributors! VERY helpful, I've been spinning online trying to sort through lodging options for more time than I'd like to admit. I'll check out these recommendations, hopefully there will be availability for our dates.
