Hi….i wonder if someone could help with some driving directions? We will be driving from Ortisei to Cortina d’ampezzo in September. Can anyone suggest directions that include any of the beautiful mountain passes?
Prior to arriving in Ortisei, we will be in Malcesine, on lake Garda. Also would love some scenic directions for that drive. Any mountain passes on that route

From Malcesine, drive north along the lake to Riva, then Rovereto, enter the highway there, north to Chiusa and then Ortisei. It is the shortest itinerary and no other makes sense. No mountain passes.
From Ortisei you drive the three most beautiful passes, Sella, Pordoi and Falzarego to Cortina.
The itinerary Gardena pass - Campolongo pass - Falzarego pass is a little shorter and easier, but not as scenic.
