scenic trainride from Venice into mountains

We are going to be in Venice for a couple days and then are wondering if there is a scenic train ride that would take us up towards the Alps/Dolomites for some good mountain scenery. We will eventually be taking a train to the CT. We could certainly stop in Bolzano or someplace north if need be, but we'd also be fine just making a loop so we could see some mountain scenery. This will be late April. Any ideas?

I think you can answer your question by first looking at a map of the area you want to explore

go here to do that

and then by looking at all the possible train routes that would cover your area of interest
