I have reservations for the Scavi tour and I am wondering what to do with my camera. I know pictures are not allowed, but I can't find anything recent on where to store the cameras. Can I carry it in my purse? I don't really want to check it, since I can go right from the tour into the Basilica. I also know that it is very warm down there and since I am going in December I will most likely have a jacket. I'm just hoping there is someplace to leave the jacket and camera so i can pick them up immediately after the tour without going back through security.
