Has anyone gone to the Ansaldo Scala Workshop tour in Milan? It sounds like it might be cool-getting a behind the scenes look at how a production is created but in the description it says you "might be able to see" the costume room for example. You have to travel 30 minutes outside of main city area to get to this and it is 30 euros per person. So a lot of time and cost and for a "might be able to see" tour, this sounds iffy. Any advice?

A programme of guided visits open to the public where there is the possibility to know the behind the scenes of every show: a service available only by reservation handled by specialized guides in collaboration with the department heads of the laboratories. The tours pass by the Pavilion Benois and the Pavilion Caramba where there is the possibility to see the Warehouse of the Costumes.

I'm from Milan, I visited the laboratories about 8 years ago, only once, but in my opinion it's really worth it, a unique experience that lets you see behind the scenes of a unique and prestigious theater like La Scala.
It is not outside of the city, is close to Navigli area, one of the most beautiful areas of Milan, a stone's throw from the center and full of places to enjoy a good aperitif on the banks of the Naviglio, one of the undisputed landmark of the city.

Hello Giangilberto! I did see this online however is says in the description "the possibility to see" which could mean maybe you can and maybe you can't depending upon circumstances. I am wondering if this is just an issue of how this description was written. Perhaps they don't mean that you might or might not, but means you have the opportunity to see these things in this tour. Does that make sense? Otherwise, I might be paying 70 euros for my husband and I and may or may not see what we were hoping to view. Your thoughts?
