Just checking for any insight into getting a $5 pass for my family of 5 to visit the cliffs. I have tried all their websites that they say to use but the don't end up offering the option to purchase tix. Not sure if that means they are sold out for that day or not. Also - are you able to swim at their beaches? I am assuming the pass is just to visit / walk the Cliffs.

You mean September 7 or July 9? I doubt they have opened the bookings for either so early, Sicilians wouldn't appreciate resellers' bots to grab all the tickets months in advance.
Register here: https://www.i-ticket.it/en/groups/scala-dei-turchi-biglietteria-online and check again in Early June.
Ps The pass costs € 5, nobody uses $ in Western Europe.

Thanks for the heads up...I think. The day is for Thurs July 9 '26. The 5 passes are for my family...not a bot. As much in demand and for only offering 35 passes per hour it would seem like they would be available now but you may be right. My point was I couldn't even get to the area to see if they were available or when they would be available. I am reaching out to Rick Steves team to see what they think. I didn't realize you couldn't use dollars in Sicily......just kidding...I don't have that symbol on my computer for the Euro.

Some Italian sightseeing websites are accessible only during the operating hours of the attraction. I don't know whether that is causing your issue, but it might be.

toddwul, I'm not saying you are a bot. I'm saying that if they opened the July bookings in February bots would grab all the tickets the moment they go on sale. Sicilians, who see Scala dei Turchi as a day trip, would realize it only in July.
I linked above the site to get tickets, since it's February and there is no active "BUY" button on that site... tickets are not yet on sale. There are 2 emails: [email protected] and [email protected]
I'm still waiting to see in person one of these Italian sites that work only durin' Italian business hours.
