Saturday in Siena

Hi all,
We are going to Italy next week, great plans. Like some of you we are doing 4 days in Siena. We have a wine tour to Montalcino Monday but are thinking about things to do on Saturday or Sunday. Are things "happening" on Sunday? We would love a 2 cooking class or something else to do with food/wine. We do not have a car and really don't want the hassle of it. Buses are fun but we would only think about a direct trip. We have Florence on the itinerary but only a day, and happy with that.
So if anyone has suggestions for Saturday or Sunday we would really appreciate that!

Best,
Patrick in Kansas (go Royals)

On Sundays buses run infrequently, therefore you should stay put in Siena. Siena can be visited in less than a day. Saturday is like any day of the week. There are many spots you can visit from Siena. San Gimignano is a popular spot which can be easily reached by bus from Siena. Monteriggioni and Colle Val D'Elsa are two more along that route. Volterra is a little farther away but worth considering.
