There are probably hundreds of options to stay in a cave in Matera, from ultra-luxury hotels to small apartments. Take a look at one of the hotel booing sites and you see some of the options. You can also visit a car without staying in one.....some on the lower price end might be damp and lack natural light. Don't plan on riding actual books in bed, at any of them!! At that time of year, I might want to be sure of some form of heat.
