We will be taking a ferry from Olbia, Sardinia, IT to Civitabecchia. We will not have a car as we will have been traveling by bicycle and bus in Sardinia. Our bikes (Bike Friday's) will be back in the travel suitcase, which converts to a trailer when we are riding,for the ferry and transfer to Rome. The suitcases are standard Pullman style, and we will have back-packs for our personal items. Is there bus line or train line easily accessed from Civitabecchia to Rome?

The train station in Civitavecchia is along the shore about 1/2 mile south of the docks. Plenty of trains to Rome, like multiple trains per hour. Time of travel depends on type of train (fast IC or Frecciabianca or slower regionali), from 45 to 90 min.
