hi. I’m wondering if anyone knows a local driver for the day to travel around the island. We will be coming from a ship port. There will be 4 people and we would like to visit a beach for a short time also. Thanks in advance

Which port?
Cagliari, Olbia or Porto Torres?
Those are the 3 major cruise ports in Sardinia and are very far apart from one other?

I have no personal experience with drivers in Sardinia since I always rented a car and drove myself, but you can check out some online resources:

I don’t know how many days you have at your disposal on the ground, but renting your own car would be much cheaper and driving in Sardinia is not difficult as traffic is not heavily congested.
Sardinia is 2 and a half times the size of the Big Island of Hawaii and from one side to the other takes forever (like 4 hours if you take the only freeway through the interior) so unless you stay around Cagliari it will take days to see the whole island and it will cost you plenty.
