Can anyone please give me some advice as to which city or town to make a base for a visit to Sardinia. I'm planning for a trip in May 2008 and need to come up with some good ideas. I would like to stay in one town and make day trips etc. I will probably stay 3 nights, but I am flexible at this stage of planning. As much advice as you can give as far as town, hotels, day trips, and connections from Sicily. Thanks
