if we have only 3 days to spend in Sardinia, which coastal town would be the best to choose?

My personal choice for 3 days would be Alghero. Great food, pristine beaches, quaint town. Don’t miss taking a boat tooth Grotto dI Nettuno.

Tough call. Depends on when you are going, what your interests are.
Do you want a bigger city, a town, or just a beach resort?
Are you going exclusively for beach/water activities (presumably during the swimming parts of the year, which is also the more crowded time of the year)?
Alghero is indeed lovely and has much to offer. But then I went to Cagliari and that blew me away and made me forget Alghero. But those are cities. You want a beach resort instead? What exactly are your priorities?
Just three days...ouch. I was there for three weeks and wanted more time...
