It is high on my list, but I have not planned a trip there yet. I'll focus on the areas of beach/nature and archaeology (http://www.italia.it/en/discover-italy/sardinia/poi/baruminis-nuragic-village.html), plus lots of eating (I have a Sardinian cookbook and the cuisine is unique). Perhaps you can share some of your interests/preferences to help people who have been there offer you advice. Why did you choose Sardinia?
