Is a week too long on Sardinia or too short?

For what? It depends on what you enjoy doing and when you'll be there.

June of 2012 doing a 3 week tour of Italy and fell in love with the pictures of Sardinia so was thinking about spending the last week there exploring the beaches on both sides of the island. I'm just not sure if a week would be too short or if we'd get bored after the first few days...(which I really can't see happening anyway)
