Can anyone suggest what the best option may be to get from Santorini to Naples or Sorrento?

If you travel in Summer, Volotea has a non stop flight from Santorini to Naples. Otherwise you need to fly to Rome. Alitalia and Ble Express fly non stops from Santorini to Rome (summer only). All other options require a change somewhere, most likely Athens.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I think I might change my trip around and fly from Myksnos to Naples.
