Trying to decide if it's worth a day trip from Rome to see Santa Servera Castle and the surrounding area.
The coopculture site lists a variety of options. Is this an area you can walk between all the sites? Do you need separate tickets for the castle, the village, the saracen tower etc? Is it worth it? Any and all thoughts are welcomed. With the covid restrictions we have to make reservations for everything so trying to make a plan.
I have not been to that town in December but I have been to a few other seaside towns in Italy in off-season between Oct and Feb. They are dead. If you have a stunningly beautiful day it will be pretty by the sea, but very quiet. Be sure to research restaurants if you plan to eat while there.
Here is detail on the castle and it looks like you can do an add on for the Saracen Tower. https://www.castellodisantasevera.it/tickets/

I’d go,to Google Maps and plot a walking route to see if it suits you.
