Does anyone have hotel, restaurant and/or sightseeing recommendations for Santa Marinella? We're looking to spend a couple of quiet days there prior to embarking on a cruise. I would also welcome suggestions on modes of transport from Fiumicino to Santa Marinella and then Civitavecchia. Thanks.

If you mean FCO, type Fiumicino Aeroporto in the from box and check on trenitalia.com/en.html if they have a train station called S. Marinella.
You can also check on www.cotralspa.it if the village is served by the regional bus network.

A train change is required at the Roma Trastevere station.
Total travel time is about 90-95 min. Train ticket price is 11 euro per person. No need for advance purchase, simply buy the tickets at the Fiumicino Airport station after you land.
