I am going to Rome in late Feb., using trains, no rental car. My boyfriend is a surfer and would like to check out Santa Marinella. Do they rent boards/wetsuits? Is this an easy trip as far as train travel? I understand that it's the off season so much will be closed, has anyone been there in off season and found a few restaurants/bars/hotels to be open? Any other suggestions for a stop on the way from Rome to CT? We are looking to add some fun hill or beach towns that are not large..
