Santa Costanza Rome

Hi all, I’m going to Rome next week and would like to visit Santa Costanza and Sant’Agnese Fuore le Mure. I’ve been there once, but it was 25 years ago, and I don’t remember anything about how I got there (bus I think), opening hours, etc. It seems to be obscure enough that I can’t find current info online. Thanks for any info!

Here is the English version of the information I think you're looking for:
https://www.santagnese.net/site/catacombs-mausoleum/
It has the tourist hours for access to the sites.

If these are the correct sites they are in Rome proper so I would look at Google maps - mass transit - to check in bus schedules and routes from wherever you're looking to stay in Rome.

Hope that helps,
=Tod

PS Here is the main site: https://www.santagnese.net/site/ but I don't think there is an English option so using Google translate may be your best option unless your Italian is passable.

I used to live right down the street from there. The easiest way to get to the church is on the B1 metro line (Sant’Agnese - Annibaliano metro stop). Leave the station and walk in the uphill direction.

Alternatively, the 90 and 60 bus from Termini go right past there. I recommend getting off at the corner of Via Nomentana and Viale XXI Aprile.

Thank you, both Jeff and Tod!I I had found the St. Agnes’s site but not the English info, and the transport info is immensely helpful.

Hi there,
I'm planning a trip to Rome in June partially in order to see the Santa Costanza! Did you find information about hours or any dates that it's closed? I tried emailing the website but the email didn't go through.
Thanks so much.

Hours and closure dates are on the website:
https://www.santagnese.net/site/catacombs-mausoleum/

Santa Costanza is part of the greater monumental complex.

Also:
"Reservations for the guided tours of the Catacombs and the Monumental Complex can be made only by email ([email protected]) or online through the Omnia Vatican-Rome portal (PURCHASE button).
Telephone reservations are not accepted."

Editing to add: I do think it's interesting that there hasn't been any reviews on this complex on Trip Advisor since January of 2022 but that's maybe because it's further out than most visitors go.
