I'm looking for a B&B or apartment rental in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily. Anyone have recommendations? We're hoping to be close to the beach (within 400m at least) and in town. Also, we will have car and I've read that street parking is expensive, so would like to have a place that includes parking. Thanks-

Hi David, I've just been looking for accom. in Sicily and found many on Airbnb site by typing in San Vito Lo Capo, Italy. Prices very reasonable and I've seen recommendations on this Helpline for Airbnb. Good luck in your search. We'd all like to know if you are successful. David, when we are looking for apts and rentals in the EU we usually use VRBO and Homelidays.com, with great success. We also check out the options on Trip Advisor. I did not see much on VRBO, but TA and Homelidays have lots of choices, It is important to find a place with good reviews, And it very important to map the location (use Google Street View to check out the neighborhood; if it is next to a nioisy restaurant, etc.) When we were there we stayed at an un-asuming Agritourisimo just outside of Trapani, with great owners, great rates, and a pool. Agris can also be a a good option, but if you can find a place right near the water I would go for that. San Vito is really a nice little town.
