Counting down the days (94) until Rome! I am looking at Trenitalia site
and see a Roma S. Pietro and a Roma San Pietro ... feeling confused.

Hi, friend. I think only the version with S. is working and offered on later screens (e.g., if you were to edit a search).

Yes. And if you get a schedule, clicking on the train number will show you the next stops, for some context, such as:

Roma Trastevere
20:37
Roma Ostiense
