San Marino Question

I realize San Marino is not Italy but posting here I figure I would get the greatest number of eyes.

Had a planned few days/nights in San Marino but just realized something very concerning.
The hours of the 2 main towers (Guaita & Cesta ) are going to close at 5 PM when I am there and my main motivation for picking this destination was the views with the castles visible but also the towns below in the distance from the vistas at Sunset and the hour or so after sunset when all of the lights in the towns below come on. It looks magical at these hours from the pictures I have seen.

My concern is after reading most every review, blog, internet post, etc... is the best views and the ones most photographed appear to be taken from one of the towers or between them looking toward the other one.
The pictures I have seen may all be from a time when the towers are open later (which they are open 'til 8 PM in the summer peak) or a time of year when the sun sets at 4 PM.

I know I can still see the towns below from the public areas in the town but with the towers closed I am very confused if I can get a view of a castle peak and the town combo like shown below?
Does anyone know? is the pathway between the 2 castles a public walk or part of the admission and closed after hours? This seems to be the area I need to be in. I don't care that I cannot be inside the towers but the path between is where I would like to be.
I found a low res map but still doesn't tell me if I can access the path.

Are the two above taken from the top of Cesta tower looking toward Guaita and not be viewable for me after 5 PM?

The 3rd image I believe is looking toward Cesta and shows the pathway I am talking about that I am not sure if has access after hours or is only accessed from inside the towers and connects them with no other way to access if the towers are closed.
This view is not as important to me but suspect I need to be on this path to see the site in the first 2 images above I posted

I know this question is quite specific and the town will have great views I am sure from numerous places. It has just set me in panic because the sole reason I added this destination and a multiple night stay here is for the views presented in the first 2 images so to now realize I may not be able to see this is frustrating.
Anyone explore these areas after the towers were closed? I would hope they keep this path between the towers open even when the towers are closed?
