Is there a way to travel from San Marco - Venice to Mestre later at night? I'll be traveling with a group of 52, we are attending a concert in the San Marco in August, the concert ends at 10:40 pm. We need to travel to our hotel in Mestre? From what I see the boats and trains end before 10:30 pm. Any advice? Thank you

Wow! 52 would be a lot of water taxis. I believe the "N" line vaporetto runs all night. Though the trains stop at around 11:00, you might check the bus schedule from Piazzale Roma to Mestre.

No, transport doesn't stop that early. I see trains from Venezia S. Lucia station to Venezia Mestre departing at 23:05, 23:11, and then a few more between midnight and the last one at 00:20.
The vaporetto also has some boats on a night schedule from 23:30, but you'll probably catch one on the regular schedule. You need to get to Ferrovia stop.

How far from the station in Mestre is your hotel?
Can your hotel arrange a 60 seater bus from P Roma to your hotel? How are 52 of you planning to get to the concert?
52 people will overwhelm a vaporetto. Sounds like private transport to me...

With that many people you all could actually just jump on water taxis and each share the cost for a boat back to piazzale Roma.
