I understand the basilica is free, but where do you get the tickets for the 3 museums inside? Can you buy them the day before? RS says to check your bags around the corner[INVALID]-a good idea, but he says only for 1 hour. What if we take longer than an hour to claim our bags? Can you also buy the Doge Palace tickets a day in advance? Is there a time given on the ticket or just show up whenever? Thanks

Another thought: Just to clarify: The SM Museum pass gets you into Doge, Correr (and several other. right now, these are ones I'm interested in find out out. Then I have to buy separate tickets to 3 museums inside SM? (do you buy as one ticket for all 3, or buy each one individually)? Thank you for any help with this and the above that I'm still wondering about.
