I would welcome any information about your experience. Is it possible to retain a sense of the sacred and of retreat? Or is there a Disneyland-type of atmosphere? (I'm pretty good at screening out distractions.)
Do you have any suggestions of where to stay? I'd like to be as close to Padre Pio's friary as possible.

Any suggestions about transportion? I plan to arrive via train and then bus, and leave via train to Ravenna. See any better options?
