San G or Siena :)

Renting a car from Florence (have no idea where, but ...) .... Would you stay in Siena or San G? We have 3 nights. want to do a bike tour of the wine country (or can you suggest a different wine tour). If on a bike, it will be in the Siena area (SG is too hilly for us) :)

Diane, might I suggest a nice agriturismo somewhere nearby San G. or Siena. Lots of them in Tuscany.

Agree with Larry... there is also a tiny little village near San g called San Donato...not much there, except a winery and a few hotels, but the views of the countryside were perfect. And, it is such a quiet little place great for just relaxing, but close to everything.
