San Francisco 49ers Fans Sports bar in Rome?

Can anyone make a recommendation to watch the NFC Championship game in Rome next Sunday. We are staying in Trastevere but will travel. Thanks, BK San Francisco 49ers Fan

I believe that game is at 6:30 pm pacific time which means 3:30 a.m. italian time. We watched the 49er game live here in Venice in our rental on channel 35 - Mediaset 2 at 7:00 p.m. here ( 10:00 a.m. SF time). Altho we will still be here on Sunday, we will not be watching the game live, not at 3:30 a.m.

Enjoy Rome.

Correction - the game is 6:30 Eastern time, which is 1230(am) here. There are a plethora of English and Irish Pubs in and around Rome, that might be your best bet. I watch the games on Sky Italia, not sure if they are on free TV or not.

Thanks for the correction, Rik. We are yet to meet. But we have been spending lots of time with Theresa.

I am still not sure if we will stay up and watch the Niner game at 12:30 am.

Go Niners!!!

Give my best to Theresa and Mickie, they are so awesome. We hope to get out there for Carnivale.

Mary, I hope you have luck finding such a place in Rome. You might want to practice this phrase to say after the game: "La mia squadra ha appena perso alla squadra migliore." :-)

Go Hawks!

Unless you have your own TV with satellite in your hotel/apartment, I doubt there are any bars showing American football in Rome, especially considering the time zone difference (it would be very early morn in Italy).
