San Donato in Poggio or Gambassi Terme?

Greetings!

We're looking at these two towns (based on very specific lodging wants/needs) for a month-long family stay in Tuscany where we plan to take day trips as well as spend days relaxing on the local economy. Thoughts?

Difficult to comment when we don't know the towns you wish to visit. Tuscany is a large area.

Both locations are central enough for our other travel plans, but we’re interested in the experience of those two towns in and of themselves. Thanks!
