Sambuca drastically raises the price of one euro homes.

Sambuca in Sicily was one of the towns offering dilapidated homes for one euro. The interest was great and they sold 16 homes.

Due to the high demand, they have decided to drastically raise the price of the remaining homes for sale. In fact, the price has gone up 100%. Can you believe it....100%. That's right, the new price is.........two euros.

Pretty good deal, still, without knowing the renovation costs of a particular home. Shockingly, prices in parts of Colorado, especially in the mountains, are just about doubling right now, and are way above €2. Buyers are offering well above asking price, and many homes are going to a buyer who can pay in cash. Sicily might not be a bad place to get away from all that, except Schengen means you only get to live in your place for half of the year, at most. How are the gelato options in Sambuca? Is Sambuca perhaps a popular flavor there?
