Salerno train station to Ravello

You could take a Travelmar ferry to Amalfi, then a bus to Ravello.

Or you can take a direct bus from Salerno to Ravello (1h).

Which company runs a direct bus from Salerno to Ravello? When I was there in October, it required a change in Amalfi. And, the trip from Salerno to Amalfi is 1h15, and then 30m from Amalfi up to Ravello.

I took the first ferry from Salerno to Amalfi, and then the bus up to Ravello. On the way back, I took the bus the entire way. If the ferries are running, I would heartily recommend using them between Amalfi and Salerno vs the bus. The bus along the coast can be quite crowded.

Not to mention that the ferry trip is really scenic.

Ferry Salerno-Amalfi (35 minutes) then Bus Amalfi-Ravello (30-35 minutes). Definitely the prettiest and the fastest.

Gerri answered your question with the transportation that we used, although we stayed at both Salerno & Amalfi. Just a question - are you planning to also go see Paestum? It’s a quick train ride from Salerno and well worth seeing the Greek temples!
