I want to get from Salerno to Ravello in the quickest easiest way. I don't need to see Amalfi (have already been there), so wondering if there is an option with the Ferry that gets me near enough to Ravello to avoid an extra bus ride? I see a ferry that goes from Salerno to Minori? Would this be closer? Every option I read about goes through Amalfi.
You can take a taxi from Minori maybe a 15 minute drive. Price $15-25.
Honestly, the quickest easiest way is probably ferry to Amalfi then bus up to Ravello, which is basically above Amalfi. The bus ride is quite short, and runs often. The bus station in Amalfi is right on the dock, should be easy.
The only bus serving Ravello is SITA to/from Amalfi. The alternatives are taxi or hike up. If you go from Minori, be sure to have a pastry at Sal de Riso.
Do you understand that Ravello is hundreds of feet above Amalfi? It has no beach. Ferries don’t serve cliff tops.
Thanks, Tim.....I actually did NOT realize that!! LOL! Amalfi sounds like the easiest route then!! THANKS EVERYONE!
