Help!!! When we decided to stay in Amalfi we didn't realize how hard it would be to get to Pompeii! Has anyone done this loop via the ferry and the train? What ferry service would you recommend? What about the train...any helpful hints??? How about the time frame...I would sure hate to all the way to pompeii and back only to miss the ferry home :/ Does anyone know of a reasonable tour company that does this out of Salerno?

You can take a Sita bus (approx 40 min) from Amalfi to Salerno and then a Trenitalia train (approx 30 min) to Pompeii. www.sitasudtrasporti.it
