We will be traveling to Salerno May 11 or 12 this year and are looking to stay 4-5 nights in Salerno. We prefer a room with an on-suite bathroom, for approximately 100 euro or less per night. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here you go. 2nd floor B&B just steps from the Old Town. Walking distance to the bus/train station. Only 3 rooms, but the Positano has an en-suite bathroom. Should be under $100/night. We stayed there five nights in 2015, and I believe Chani from this board has stayed there too.

A little bit of a walk from the train station, but I stayed at B&B Il Fuso. My room had a bathroom. I liked it. Don't know what the current price is for rooms.

Just out of curiosity, I looked on booking.com for accommodations in Salerno in May. I skimmed down a couple of pages, only focusing on those with the highest ratings (9 or higher). Everything I saw was below or just above $100/night, which would be comfortably within your budget. All had ensuite bathrooms. See for yourself.
