Is there anywhere in Salerno to purchase a Campania Artecard? Does the train station sell them? The online sale site presents more problems than it solves.

The website appears to be geared toward online purchases and pick-up at major sale points such as the Naples airport. However, on the Contact Us page there's a form you can submit with your question about sale points in Salerno or you can email your question to [email protected] (email address is noted on the website). I've only purchased the card in Sorrento, so unfortunately I can't be of more help regarding Salerno.

A few years ago we could not purchase the artecard in Salerno where we stayed for our Amalfi Coast trip. We got them in the train station in Naples. We got them right before we headed to the Archaeological museum in Naples and used them for the first time.

We bought/used them spring of 2019.
I believe "timer" on them doesn't start until you use them.
So purchase them at the Naples TI or airport (that's where we bought ours) and keep them till they're needed.
P.S. the Salerno train station is moderate in size. There is a TI outside, with a single person in it. The woman there helped us with a bus we wanted to take but they may not have the ArteCard.
