Hi All!
We will be in Salerno for a 36 hours in late May with no car. I am trying to plan our time to see as much as we can! I cannot seem to locate a site that shows the LOCAL bus routes and schedules, and I need them in English :) I have found some SITA bus sites, but that doesn't help me in getting around the city. Being even more specific, I am looking for bus 19 that goes up to the Castello di Arechi which sits north of the city. Also can we "pick up" up a bus along the Lungomare to go into Vietri sul Mare to eat and see the
Due Fratelli? Or do we need to go all the way back to the train station to catch the bus?

You can find Salerno bus schedules at www.cstp.it. They're not available in English, but you can still get a feel for schedules. You can also use Google Translate to assist.
For bus #19 schedule, click on Orario Linee Urbane Salerno icon and then the bus 19 Feriale icon. For bus to Vietra sul Mare, click on the Orario Linee Interurbane icon and then look at Linea 1 schedule. It lists a stop at Lungomare Trieste.
